Hello!
I’m Emily, a Principal Product Designer with experience shaping product direction and leading customer experience work for clients in healthcare, finance, and enterprise software. I specialize in connecting with people including stakeholders, teammates, and users to deeply understand goals and needs, and then using those insights to make thoughtful design decisions that balance user experience with business outcomes.
I thrive in roles where I can take ownership end-to-end — from strategy and problem definition to guiding execution across multiple products and initiatives. Along the way, I mentor designers and help organizations elevate their design practice, even in fast-paced consulting environments.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me catching up on reality shows with my husband or baking some gluten free treats. I also co-lead Slalom Women, an employee resource group, and organize Ladies that UX, where we connect with fellow UX designers and support each other’s career journeys. When I’m not designing or mentoring, I enjoy crafting, hand lettering, and painting. I have a relaxed, easygoing demeanor and a gift for a little friendly yap.
